During active fermentation, a large portion of the sediment is blown out of the carboy
“Racking” from the 1st carboy to the 2nd carboy may be at a time of your choosing
The beer may remain in the 2nd carboy up to 3 weeks, achieving maximum clarity, before bottling is required
Bottling may be accomplished by the bulk priming method, eliminating the need to add sugar to each bottle
Glass is easy to sanitize and provides maximum protection from oxidation
2 batches may be fermenting at different stages simultaneously
Any beer in the world may be brewed - ales or lagers
may be used in the  two-stage brewing method
Beer may be bottled in the range of 10-45 days, at your discretion

Disadvantages:
The blow-off reservoir must be checked daily
The blow-off tubing must be cleaned immediately after use and should be replaced periodically
2 transfers are necessary to take advantage of the system's design.
