Paradise Seed
aka Grains of Paradise

 

 Nutty with a kick. All of these seeds need to be treated with respect. These, however, are not quite as overpowering as either Cardamon or Coriander. They also have a nuttier and less spicy taste. I can easily imagine this in a Porter where the taste would wonderfully offset the malt sweetness.
