Amber Ale Recipe list

River Tyne Brown Ale

Redhook E.S.B.

Color International Bittering Units Alcohol
12 28 +/- 4.8

This clone is a full-bodied amber ale is the style of Redhook's flagship brew. We are able to duplicate its toasted malt flavor and pleasant finishing sweetness which makes it extremely enjoyable and drinkable. This rich, copper-colored ale develops a complex balance between the bitterness of the hops and the sweetness of the caramel malts. The aromatic hops highlights the fresh hops aroma.

Commercial example: Redhook ESB

Many thanks to Dewayne Morris in his never ending pursuit of developing this recipe.
